JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are a family of five—mom, dad, a 4-year-old, and twin girls—living in a quaint and charming residential neighbourhood in Toronto West.
WORK DETAILS:
- Looking for a Live-Out Nanny both Full-time and Part-Time to provide care for twin girls (Hours and shifts can be discussed)
-Monday to Friday: Start time is 8:00 AM, and punctuality is a MUST!
-Saturday start time is 9:30AM
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Providing daily care for our twins, including tasks such as diaper changes (with diaper cream), assisting with their transition to potty training, feeding, nap-time, and general supervision
-Prepare nutritious meals, and after each meal, clean the dishes and tidy up
-Age-appropriate activities including sensory play and arts and crafts
-Reading to the twins daily
-Walk every day (weather permitting) including visits to local parks, museums, and family friendly destinations (farms etc.)
-Organizing common play areas such as the living room and kitchen (example- returning the toy back to the original place after using and sanitizing toys at the end of each shift)
-Bath time: My twins are fearful of the running water so I would like to hire someone who makes bath time fun
EXTRAS
- Begin each shift by washing hands and ensure hands are washed during meal and snack times for proper hygiene
- Maintaining a clean home is very important to me. I clean daily as part of my routine, and I expect the home to be consistently well-maintained
-I am highly detail-oriented and will ensure your day is organized and well-prepared. However, it is important that you demonstrate initiative and mirror this level of care and attentiveness
-In the event that our 4-year-old daughter is home from school, managing the household with three children can become quite busy. During such times, we require support to handle challenges that may pop up
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Nanny or childcare facilitator experience of five years or more
- A bachelor's degree in child psychology or early childhood education is preferred
- English is essential
