JOB DESCRIPTION:
Full-Time Live-Out Nanny (April–August 2026)
📍 Location: Avenue Road & Eglinton Ave., Toronto (Midtown) - walkable from LRT station
🗓 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
đź’° Compensation: $20/hour (competitive and negotiable for the right candidate)
We are a warm and welcoming family in Midtown Toronto seeking a reliable, kind, and highly organized live-out nanny to care for our 11-month-old child from April through August 2026 (5-month contract), with the possibility to continue part-time in September. We are looking for someone who will become a trusted part of our daily routine and provide attentive, nurturing care in a safe and engaging environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Childcare
Provide attentive, loving daily care for our 11-month-old
Prepare and feed meals and snacks
Follow nap schedule and maintain consistent routines
Diapering and maintaining proper hygiene
Plan age-appropriate educational and engaging activities
Attend local children’s classes and outings (e.g., walks, early learning programs)
Household Support
Meal preparation for the family
Light housekeeping (Making bed, cleaning kitchen and bathrooms, tidying and organizing common areas, folding laundry)
Ideal Candidate
Minimum 2–3 years of experience caring for infants
Strong understanding of infant development and routines
Excellent Canadian references (required)
CPR and First Aid certification (required)
Legally eligible to work in Canada
Up-to-date vulnerable sector background check (required prior to start)
Energetic, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Organized and proactive with household tasks
Non-smoker
Comfortable working independently
Comfortable accompanying child to neighborhood activities
