JOB DESCRIPTION:
Part-Time Housekeeper / Nanny (Potential Full-Time in October)
We are a growing family seeking a reliable, organized, and caring individual to join our household as a part-time housekeeper/nanny, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role starting in October when we welcome our second baby.
Current Role (Part-Time):
The role is primarily focused on household management, with occasional childcare for our 2.5-year-old.
Future Role (Full-Time Starting October):
The position will evolve into a balanced role that includes both childcare (for two young children) and continued household support.
Key Responsibilities:
General housekeeping (cleaning, tidying, organizing)
Laundry and household upkeep
Light meal preparation (occasional)
Walking the family dog
Assisting with childcare when needed (playing with, supervising, or caring for our toddler when they are home)
Transitioning into a shared role of childcare and home management in the fall
Requirements:
Previous experience in housekeeping and/or nanny roles
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
Comfortable managing a household independently
Experience caring for young children is an asset
Trustworthy, proactive, and detail-oriented
Comfortable with pets (dog-friendly)
What We’re Looking For:
Someone who takes initiative, enjoys creating an organized and clean environment, and is warm and engaging with young children. Flexibility is important as the role will grow and change with our family’s needs.
